About Mark Edmondson
Mark Edmondson is president of LEAN Affiliates (www.LEANaffiliates.com), a network of 11 professional consultants who specialize in lean transformation and operational excellence. Along with his team of Affiliates, he is passionate about providing the best resources to achieve rapid, breakthrough results during a client’s lean transformation. With 20 years of “front-line” experience while working with over 200 companies, Mark developed a philosophy of achieving innovation and operational excellence through simple, low cost, yet transformative changes to business.
Breakthrough results have been achieved across many industry groups, including work with ARCO, Mrs. Bairds Bakery, Bell Helicopter, Clarke American, Cooper Industries, Dell, Deluxe, ExxonMobil, Bridgestone/Firestone, IBM, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon Systems, Reliant Energy, Toro, and The York Group.
As an implementation leader with lean thinking principles and the Toyota Production System, Mark’s perspective is drawn from experience as an operations executive, business process consultant, consulting principal, and change agent. He’s also managed corporate business alliances with Dell, IBM, PeopleSoft, PTC, SAP, SAS and the major management consulting firms.
Mark earned an MS and BS in Management and Industrial Engineering from Stanford University, and a BA in Management and Economics from Claremont McKenna College.
